Mary elizabeth Klennert

Mary E. Klennert, 75, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 in Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks.

 

Mary Elizabeth Denis was born November 9, 1936 in Fargo, ND the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Foley) Denis. She was raised in Fargo and Grand Forks graduating from St. James High School, Grand Forks. Mary was married to Ronald Klennert from 1958 to 1981. She worked for the Grand Forks School District in the lunch program and was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

 

Mary was a passionate supporter of Fighting Sioux sports teams. She also loved following the Minnesota Vikings and the Twins. She was a proud mother and grandmother and greatly enjoyed her time with family.

 

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Klennert, Falcon, CO, John (Julie) Klennert, Denver, CO, Jim (Shelly) Klennert, Gilbert, AZ; brothers, Richard (Mary) Denis, Peru, IL, Danny (Barb) Denis, Brentwood, CA and 5 grandchildren, Victoria, Zackary, Kate, Ben and Anne.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents; and a brother, William Denis.

 

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with a 4:30 p.m. rosary service in Gregory J. Norman – Norman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Wednesday.

Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
