Beverly A. Altendorf , 87, Of Grand Forks, ND, died Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Elim Healthcare Center in Fargo, ND.

Beverly Anne Dick was born at Borusky Hospital, Langdon, ND on January 23, 1938, to Charles and Mathilda (Wengeler) Dick. She grew up on the farm and attended school for 9 years in Nekoma, ND. The family moved to Devils Lake, ND where she graduated from Central High School in 1956.

After high school Beverly attended Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks, ND, she worked for 30 years in banking with two different banks. An employee she worked with introduced her to Gerald J. Altendorf of Grafton, ND, they were married September 24, 1959, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Nekoma, ND. They made their home in Grand Forks, ND. Gerald farmed near Grafton, ND, he also was a building contractor and worked at Century 21-Red River. He passed away August 15, 1996, from cancer.

Beverly survived by her son; Richard (Geralyn) Altendorf; daughter, Audrey (Thomas) O'Keefe; 7 grandchildren; Lindsey, Leah, Tera, Ryan, Luke, Alyssa and Jayden; 5 great grandchildren; Jocelyn, Jackson, Emmett, Kieran, and Ashton; brothers, Eugene Dick, Gary Dick; sisters, Arlene (Frank) Huiet, Jana Davidson and sister-in-law Doris Dick.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; Charles and Mathilda Dick, husband, Gerald, her brother Merlin Dick, Sister-in-law Marge Dick, brother-in-law Melvin Davidson, an infant son Joseph, and infant brother Joseph.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, with a 6:30 p.m. Vigil Service in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 , 2025, in Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
