Clifford "Cliff" A. Jordan , age 71, of Grand Forks, ND died on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Altru Hospital surrounded by family.

Clifford Arthur Jordan, a son of Paul and Alice "Beverly" (Gagne) Jordan, was born on July 27, 1951, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He grew up in Auburn, Massachusetts and graduated from Auburn High School in 1969.  After graduation, he attended ITT Technical College, in Massachusetts for 1 year, where he studied drafting.  He then joined the United States Air Force on January 7, 1971, to January 6, 1975. He received an honorable discharge.  After being discharged from the Air Force, Cliff remained in the greater Grand Forks area.

Cliff had many jobs over the years and typically more than one at a time.  He was a truck driver, a carpenter and a long-time bartender at Southgate Bar and Grill in Grand Forks.  After retiring from the Grand Forks Air Force base in 1975, Cliff continued to serve his country as a civilian on the Grand Forks Air Force base where he worked on the Minute Men III missiles and was an asbestos removal supervisor.  He later retired from providing civil service in January 2015.

In October 1997, Cliff met Brenda and her four sons: Bryan, Bobby, Michael and Tommy.  They were joined in marriage on July 29, 2016. Over the years, many memories were made while watching the boys grow up and all together becoming a family.

He was a hardworking man who had a passion for building and remodeling houses around East Grand Forks, MN and Grand Forks, ND.  He enjoyed spending his time outdoors traveling across the country riding his Harley motorcycle to Sturgis, SD, snowmobiling through the mountains of Jackson Hole, WY.  Cliff also enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time at the lake and many trips back to Massachusetts.

Cliff had a big heart and cared deeply for his friends and family.  He took on many roles such as a husband, father, papa, brother, and friend. He was especially proud of his four sons and all his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; his sons, Bryan (Michele) Lukkason, Robert (Kayla) Lukkason, Michael (Laura) Lukkason, and Thomas (Ashley) Lukkason; his nine grandchildren, Leo, Brooks, Beau, Colton, Lincoln, Lyla, Liv, Hudson and Carson; his siblings, David (Ellen) Jordan, Debra Jordan (Tom Ermanski), Paula Almstrom, Jayne (Garry) English, Richard (Angela) Jordan, Mariann (William) Connelly, and Daniel Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christine Styles.

Funeral Liturgy: 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Sunday, April 23, 2023, with a 5:00 p.m. prayer service and time of sharing at Norman Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Monday.
Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion Post 157, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817, and the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard.
