CODY MICHAEL MARTINSON

Cody Michael Martinson, age 30 of Grand Forks, died on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home.

Cody M. Martinson, a son of Jesse Martinson and Teresa Mafnas, was born on February 3, 1992 at Grand Forks. He moved with his family to Paragould, AK for a time. He returned to Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central. After his education he served in the US Army Reserves. Cody worked various jobs in the Grand Forks area. He was married for a time to Joanne LaPlante. He spent time at Fed Ex and worked for a time with the postal service. In 2021 he began working at Marvin Windows in Grafton on the assemble line. Cody has continued to make Grand Forks his home.

He loved anything Pokemon and spending time with his children and family.

He is survived by his parents Jesse (Georgeann) Martinson and Terresa (Ronald) Mafnas; children Remi Martinson and Jacob Gladue; siblings, Trey Mafnas, Leilani Mafnas, Trevor Mafnas, Tori Summitt, Alissa, Zoe, Robert, Josh, Jayson and Travis; grandparents, Vicki and Michael Schoenberg and Robert Longtine

Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother

Funeral Services: Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Norman Funeral Home at Grand Forks.

Visitation: One hour before service time.
