Cody G. Reimer, 39, of Coon Rapids, MN and formerly of Grand Forks, ND passed away in Burnsville, MN.

Cody Glenn Reimer was born on January 29, 1986, in Grand Forks, ND the son of William "Bill" and Rhonda Reimer.  He graduated in 2004 from Red River High School where he enjoyed wrestling and playing football. After graduation, he went to work in the family railroad business where he soon perfected the art of bidding out jobs by connecting with and understanding the needs of their clients. This skill set served him well over the years not just in his professional life, but also in his personal life.

Cody had a never-ending love of trucks, sunglasses, and hats, German shepherds, playing cribbage with his dad, taking his mom out shopping or to a nice restaurant, going to concerts with his brother, or just hanging out with the family, especially at the cabin on the lake in Bemidji, MN.

Cody had a passion for cooking, stopping at any chef store he came across, reading, (his favorite was anything by Stephen King) and especially gaming. It was through gaming that Cody met the love of his life, Brianna, "tricking" her into marrying him on September 24, 2011.    Cody had a huge heart of love and care for the people in his life, whether you were family, friend, work colleague, or neighbor.

Cody passed into the presence of the Lord on August 7, 2025, leaving behind his wife, Brianna Reimer (nee Cook), parents, William and Rhonda Reimer, brother and sister-in-law, Reed and Ruth Reimer, nieces, Rowan and Rozlynn Reimer, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial Mass: 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, Grand Forks, ND.
Family Greeting: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Vigil Service Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel. Family Greeting will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the Newman Center on Friday.
