Cole W. Schempp, age 28 of Grand Forks, ND, died on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Cole William Schempp, a son of Carl and Barbara (Tetrault) Schempp, was born on June 28, 1997 at Grand Forks, ND. He was reared and attended school in Grand Forks, graduating in 2016. During his early school years Cole played hockey.  When he entered high school, his passion became cooking. He worked for several restaurants. After graduation he worked as a line cook at L Bistro in the Canad Inns Hotel. Later Cole worked at Brick and Barley for a time. Later he worked at the Southgate Bar and Grill in Grand Forks.

He enjoyed cooking, smoking meat, riding his longboard and watching WWE, Cole loved watching the Green Bay Packers playing hockey and the Band Entropy.

He is survived by his Father, Carl Schempp; his mother, Barbara Tetrault; his special friend, Mallory Howe; sister, Amy (Brandon) Thilmony; brothers, Steven (Katie) Baldson, Alexander (McKayla) Baldson and Grant Schempp (Special Friend Crystal Seurer); nieces Emma, Hannah, Avery, Madison, Erica and Isla; nephews, Zander and Teegan; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Cole is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Memorial Service: Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Norman Funeral Home in Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: One hour before service time in the funeral home.
