CONSTANCE  A. RUMREICH

Constance A. Rumreich, age 87 of Grand Forks, ND, died on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Constance S. Rumreich, a daughter of Rudolph and Anastasia (Dougharty) Rumreich, was born on March 14, 1939 at Austin, MN. At a young age she moved with her family to Grand Forks. Connie attended school at St. James Acadamy in Grand Forks, graduating in 1957. She then attended college at St. Catherine's Girls School in Minneapolis, MN. After her education she began teaching English at Red Lake Falls, MN. After about a year of teaching Connie returned to Grand Forks to care for her mother when she became ill. Later she worked at UND as a librarian. After connie's retirement she moved to Tufte Manor and later to Valley Senior Living on Columbia.

She enjoyed gardening and had a love for books. Connie was an avid reader.

Connie is survived by her friend, Dolores Derouin of Grand Forks, ND.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Liturgy: Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Norman Funeral Home in Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: one hour before service time in the funeral home.
