Darlyne Ann Fortin , 91, of Grand Forks, ND passed Sunday, April 12, 2026 in her home.

Darlyne (Cronin) Fortin was born November 12, 1934 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of John and Kathryn (Carroll) Cronin. She attended school in Thompson, ND and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1952. She married Darrell Fortin in 1956 at St Jude's Catholic Church in Thompson, ND.

Darlyne is survived by her son, Tim (Patti) Fortin, Phoenix, AZ; daughters Michelle (Ron) Swanson, Larimore, ND and Beth (Gerhard) Nikolic, Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Ryan Fortin, Shannon (Travis) Fortin Ensign, Rochelle (Neal) Ray, Shaun (Andria Pinkerton) Swanson, Christopher (Katie) Nikolic, Connor Nikolic and Elise Nikolic; great grandchildren Sienna, Natalie, Isabelle, Anneliese, Philip and Theodore,  and her sister Margaret Breton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Darrell, and her brother Jack Cronin.

Mass of Christian Burial : 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 22, 2026 in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation : One hour prior to the Funeral Mass at the church on Wednesday.
Burial : Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
