David Lawrence Guseman , 65, of Grand Forks, ND, lost his battle with cancer on January 17, 2021.

David was born in Monessen, PA on January 20, 1955. He grew up in Andover, OH. He spent 4 years in the United States Air Force stationed at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. He met his future wife Susan Clynch in August of 1978 and they were married in June of 1979. He then got a job at the post office where he worked for 32 years, primarily as a letter carrier. After retiring in 2012, he worked part-time at Altru Guest Services. Dave enjoyed watching any Ohio sports team. He collected mailmen figurines and sport memorabilia. He liked to listen to music and watch movies. He loved going to Arizona in the winter.

Dave is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Guseman; daughters, Vanessa (Ryan) Bryn of Fargo, ND; Amber (Bradley) Nicklay of West Fargo, ND; father, Robert Guseman; brothers, Danny (Becky) Guseman, Donald (Dee) Guseman, Dennis (Carol) Guseman; sisters, Roberta Becker, Renea Guseman, Rebecca Guseman, and Ramona (Bob) Dott.

Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Guseman and sister, Rhonda Guseman.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 22 with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service in the Historic Norman Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral service in the funeral home on Saturday.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
Military Honors: Accorded by members of the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard and the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard.
Please join us for a celebration of life at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grand Forks immediately following the funeral service on January 23 ^rd .
