DAWN DIANE STOREY

Dawn Diane Storey, age 73 of Grand Forks, ND, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks.

Dawn Diane Storey, daughter of Donald and Ursula (Ward) Patterson, was born on December 29, 1948 in Grand Forks. She was raised Grand Forks and attended Sacred Heart School in East Grand Forks, MN. After graduation Dawn traveled to Europe for the summer.  She returned to Grand Forks and began working at Phelps Jewelry. Dawn then worked at Hugo's for over 15 years. On February 29, 1984 she was married to Dan Storey in Las Vegas, NV. Dawn then worked at Sam's Club until her retirement in 2014.

She enjoyed crafting, baking, reading, gardening, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Storey, sons, Daniel (Renata) Storey and Brett (Miranda) Storey; grandchildren, Octavia, Persephone, Jazmyn, Daniel and Kobie; extended family, Donnalyn (Clayton) Grant and Jerry (Becky) McLean

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of the Christian Burial: Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Visitation: one hour before service time in the church.

Burial: will be at Calvary North Cemetery in Grand Forks at a later date.
