Diane Marie Ripplinger , 69 of Grand Forks, ND passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Diane Marie Adams was born on August 2, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Donald and Helen (Kuzel) Adams.  She was raised in East Grand Forks, MN and attended East Grand Forks Senior High School. Diane married Michael Ripplinger on August 17, 1973 and they had three children. Diane was employed as a hairdresser for 45 years. She started her career at Bill and Don's in 1970 and retired from the profession in 2015 from the Ultimate Look to become her mother's caretaker until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2019.

She loved cooking, baking, shopping, entertaining, and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and her entire family.

She is survived by brothers, David (Kimberly) Adams of Grand Forks, ND, and Wayne (Sharon) Adams, of East Grand Forks, MN; her son, Brian (Shawnna) Ripplinger of Buxton, ND; her daughter, Lisa Kelsey of Bellingham, WA; her son, Aaron Ripplinger of Sioux Falls, SD; four grandsons, Nicholas Jemtrud, Noah Kelsey, Adam Kelsey, and Andrew Ripplinger; five nieces; three great-nieces and four great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Adams; her mother, Helen Adams and a brother, Daniel Adams.

She will be deeply missed.

Mass of Christian Burial : 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation : 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 with a 4:30 p.m. rosary service and a 7:00 p.m. vigil service in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Saturday.
Burial : Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
