Diane K. (Davidson) Swanson, 77, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Diane Kathleen Davidson was born on November 22, 1946, in Grand Forks, ND the son of Melvin "Ole" and Lilly (Holter) Davidson. Diane married John "Jack" Swanson on February 6, 1975, in Crookston, MN. Jack and Diane moved to Bullhead City, AZ, and lived there from 2004-2015. They moved and resided in Grand Forks, ND, and Diane was employed at the University of North Dakota and Hugo's Deli. She loved gardening, cooking, and trying new recipes, as well as being outdoors. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren and enjoying life.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack; children, Tracy (Jennifer) Tinkler, Anne Askjem, Justine (James Gonzales) Swanson; sisters, Judy Akridge, Rose Boulduc, and Lillian DeGagne; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Robert Davidson, Melvin Davidson, and Gilford Davidson; sisters, Gloria Davidson Marjorie Brage, Lila Berglund, and Mary Gagnon.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
