Donald Maynard Neevel, age 92 of Grand Forks, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Valley Eldercare on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Donald Neevel, a son of Maynard and Bertha Neevel, was born on December 31, 1929 at Marion, ND. He grew up and went to school in Marion and Sanborn ND. He moved to Grand Forks and worked for Armors for abort 2 years. Donald was drafted in the US army and served 2 years during the Korean Conflict. In 1953 he went to work for the C.L. Linfoot Co. and retired in 1985 after 35 years of service. In 1969 he was married to Sharon Dixon. They have continued to make Grand Forks their home.

Don and Sharon spent some winters in Arizona after Don's retirement. He loved to build things like tractors and enjoyed gardening. There was almost nothing he couldn't fix. Donald will be greatly missed.

Donald is survived by his wife Sharon; sons Dean Neevel, Arizona; grandsons, Casey Neevel and Corey Neevel; a great grandchild and a brother Ray Neevel of West Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Bruce and a sister Lois Boughton.
