Donna R. Clark, 88, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Valley 4000-Woodside Village in Grand Forks.

Donna Rae Bisenius was born on October 5, 1935, in Langdon, ND the daughter of Steven and Frances (Dodge) Bisenius. She was raised in Walhalla, ND, where she met her next-door neighbor and future husband, Joseph Clark. Donna married Joseph "Joe" Clark on August 21, 1952, at Cavalier Lutheran Church in Cavalier, ND. Donna and Joe moved to Cut Bank, MT and later returned to Walhalla. They moved to Grand Forks in 1970.

While raising the family's seven children, Donna also held Star Mail Route contracts for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. Throughout her life, Donna enjoyed a variety of activities, as well. She loved to listen to country western music and loved to dance. At all family functions, you could find her doing "The Twist" and pulling family members onto the dance floor to join in the fun. Over the years, Donna also enjoyed going to church, bowling, playing bingo, roller skating, driving her moped, and singing. (Her favorite song was "You are My Sunshine.") Most of all, Donna loved her family and grandchildren, and her door was always open to them all. Donna's faith and trust in God was also evident to everyone around her. We know that she's now dancing JOYFULLY in her Heavenly Home!

Donna is survived by her sons, Ross (Tavia) Clark; William Clark, all of Grand Forks, ND; Steven (Terri) Clark, Moorhead, MN; her daughters, Linda Krog, East Grand Forks, MN, and Karen (Mike) Smith, Grand Forks, ND; a brother, James (Helen) Bisenius, and a sister, Kay (Jim) Wendt; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild "on the way."

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Joe on October 10, 2012; her parents; her daughters, Frances Hart and Debra Lund; a grandson, Bradley Hart; a brother, Jack Bisenius; sisters, Elaine Smith, Bette Gibson, and Barbara Waters.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 in the Havig-Heen Chapel, 4000 Valley Square, 4000 24th Avenue South, Grand Forks, ND.

Family Greeting: One hour prior to the service in the chapel on Friday.

Interment: Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
