Donna M. Dobson , 90, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Donna Mae Fundingsland was born on September 13, 1930 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Manfred and Bervilla (Myers) Fundingsland.  She was raised in Grand Forks and attended Grand Forks Central High School. Donna married Carl S. Nelson and they had three daughters. Donna married George G. Dobson on April 26, 1980.  George preceded her in death on Christmas Day in 1996.   She was employed at Piggly Wiggly Super Market in Grand Forks.  Later, she was the House Mother and Cook for Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of North Dakota.  These were her boys.

She loved her flowers, her job as a house mother and cooking.  Also, she enjoyed Bingo and going to casinos.   Most of all, she loved her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Jim) Francisco, Susan (Chuck) Mathues and Kathie Peltier; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon; a grandson, James Peltier and a brother, Ralph Burton.

Funeral Service :  2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Saturday.
Burial: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
