Doreen Mager , age 90 of Aneta, ND, died on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood, ND.

Doreen Mager, a daughter of Charles and Celina (St. Vincent) Dauphinais, was born on October 7, 1930 at Olga, ND. She was raised and educated in the Walhalla, ND area. Doreen moved around North Dakota working at various jobs. She worked at the Grafton State Hospital for a time. Doreen moved to Grand Forks. In 1974 she was married to Clarence Mager. She worked at UND in housekeeping until an injury forced her to retire. They moved to Mayville, ND. Clarence passed away on December 25, 2017. She moved to the Larimore Nursing Home, where she resided until 2021 when she moved the Aneta Nursing home.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, playing cards, putting puzzles together and spending time with her dogs, Fifi, Mitzy and Sparky. Doreen was a longtime member of the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Mayville.

She is survived by her son, Paul (Laurie) Odden of Michigan, ND and a daughter, Deloris (Glenn) Porter of Park River, ND; grandchildren, Jennifer Odden, Janet Odden, Jill Reed, Jamie Magnus, Carla Wilmer and Shane Gravlin; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Matthews, Dileen Hess and Mary Helen Vondal

Doreen was preceded in death by parents, husband and brothers, Edward, Percy, Odel and Larry

Funeral Liturgy; will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Forks.

Visitation; one hour before funeral liturgy.

Burial; will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery in Grand Forks.
