Douglas Allen Boushee , 74 years old, of Grand Forks, ND died peacefully at home with his wife at his bedside on May 29, 2026.

Born in Grand Forks, ND, on August 14, 1951, he was a proud and devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family deeply.

Douglas was an entrepreneur most of his life and did some farming. He enjoyed boating, fishing and gardening. He devoted his time and energy to his family and loved the holidays. Douglas was known to share many stories and his wisdom with his children and grandchildren and all those who knew him.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Boushee of 52 years; 2 sons, Tyson and Tanner (Cassie); 1 daughter, Saddi (Rick) Fontaine; 7 grandchildren, Juliet, Lleyton, Paxton, Leo, Stella, Delilah, and Tripp. Also, his two brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Robert Sr. and Gladys Boushee.

Memorial Service: 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026 in the Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service in the funeral home on Friday
Interment: At a later date.
