Fern J. Wanke, age 83 of Grand Forks, died on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Fern Jacqueline Wanke born July 9th 1941 to Otto Wanke and Antoinette Wolf. she grew up and graduated from Palatine Illinois. Soon after she met and married Murray Uhrich moving from Illinois to Grand Forks, ND. she was blessed with four children, Keith (Donna), Mitch(Linda), Wade(Kim) Julie(Dominic  ) along with 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Fern worked as a legal secretary in Grand Forks before she started a long and rewarding career in real estate until her retirement. In her spare time she stayed active by working at JCPenney's, visiting with her friends, doing crochet projects and her Bible studies. Along with spending time at her lake home. Fern was well known and will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services: Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Grace Baptist Church in Grand Forks, ND.
