Frances E. Lang, 90, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Frances Elaine Bonn was born on March 24, 1931, in rural Mylo, ND, the oldest child of Albert and Helen (Knutsvig) Bonn.  She was raised and educated in the Mylo area.    Frances married Richard H. Lang on October 14, 1948, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cando, ND.  They moved to Grand Forks and raised their children.  She was a long time and active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed being with her family. Richard preceded her in death on October 25, 2006.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Rita) Lang, Ervin (Melissa) Lang, Jack (Colleen) Lang, Keith (Julie) Lang and Curtis (Karen) Lang; a brother, Philip (Jean) Bonn; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter and 1 one great-great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; daughters, Bernadette Klindt and Melinda Lang, an infant daughter, Bernadene; and an infant son, Terry; a great-granddaughter, Esma; two sisters, Donna Gerald and Beverly Anderson; brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Albert, Jr., and Paul.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Saturday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
