Fred T. Pribula, 76, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Fred Timothy Pribula was born on October 13, 1946, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Raymond and Marie (Rychart) Pribula. Fred grew up on the family farm near East Grand Forks. He graduated from the University of North Dakota after serving his country in the North Dakota Army National Guard following high school. Fred worked as a large construction equipment operator and later for the USDA as a field specialist.

Fred's greatest love was spending his free time up north in Canada at the cabin he shared with friends and family. There were a few fish caught and many good memories were made at Garner Lake. Fred enjoyed sharing all these good memories with others.

Fred was a gentle, caring man, who always made the best of what life brought. Once his mother needed care, he left his job, sold his home, and spent many years caring for her allowing her to stay in her home. After her passing you would find him volunteering at the local nursing home brightening the residents' day. He generously shared his time and garden vegetables with many who lived there.

Fred is survived by a brother, Jerry (Patrice) Pribula, a sister, Kathy (Blake) Carlson; brother-in-law, Terry Greenwood; sister-in-law, Jane Pribula and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Donna Greenwood and a brother, Jim Pribula.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion Post 157, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817 and the North Dakota Army National Guard.
