Gerald "Jerry" Kvasager, 67, of Rhame, ND and formerly of Thompson, ND passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home in Rhame.

Gerald Wayne Kvasager was born August 23, 1952 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Howard and Arleen (Lebacken) Kvasager. He was raised in rural Thompson and graduated from Thompson High School in 1970. Jerry Married Roxann Griggs on July 5, 1974 in St. Jude's Catholic Church in Thompson. Following their marriage, Jerrys work as an elevator manager lead him and his family to a number of communities in North Dakota and Minnesota. Working in the grain and farm industry gave him many lifelong friendships. He was an avid outdoor sportsman and one of his favorite pastimes was to guide friends and family on hunts in southwestern North Dakota along with his beloved hunting dog, Katie. His pride and joy were his children and 8 grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Timothy (Andrea) Kvasager, Grand Forks, ND and Todd Kvasager, Rhame, ND; a daughter, Tori (Aaron Schulz) Kvasager, Wahpeton, ND; a brother, Richard (Sue) Kvasager, Alexandria MN; a sister, Kathy (Gene) Johnson, Thompson, ND; 8 grandchildren, Clair, Marlys, Addison, Chloe, Katherine, Aiden, Rilynn and Mackenzie; aunts, uncles nieces and nephews and his four legged best friend, Katie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Roxann and his brother, Larry Kvasager.
