Geraldine "Gerri" Kraft, 84, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Valley Senior Living on 42nd in Grand Forks.

Geraldine Adeline Thomas was born on January 15, 1941, in Minot, ND the daughter of Phillip and Adeline (Weninger) Thomas.  She was raised in Velva, ND and graduated from Velva High School.  She went on to attend Minot State College in Minot, ND.  Geraldine was united in marriage to Clair Kraft on October 19, 1963, in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Velva.  Together, they raised three sons, Rick, Randy, and Russell.

Gerri was employed with Farm Credit Services for 23 years, retiring in 2004.  She enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts, crocheting and playing bridge.  Most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family at Lake Sarah in Minnesota.  She was a long time and active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks.   Clair preceded her in death on December 28, 2014.

She is survived by her sons, Rick (Rhonda) Kraft, Randy (Rachel) Kraft and Russell (Sonia) Kraft all of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Nathan (Cat), Marisa, Julie, Sarah, Jacob, Ellie, Zachary and Thomas; a great-grandson, Ezra; a brother, Karl Thomas, Mentor, MN; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clair, her siblings, Francis Thomas, Phil Thomas and Carol Wentz.

Funeral Liturgy: 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Monday.
Burial: Calvary South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
