Hanzy "Hank" Woodrow Horn , 85, Grand Forks, ND passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020, at home from complications due to COVID pneumonia.  He loved the Lord, his family, and this country with all he had. Hank met everyone with a gentle smile and a kind heart.

Hank was born November 9, 1935, in Surgoinsville, Tennessee the son of William and Lorena (Manis) Horn. He enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1954 at 18 years old and after 21 years of dedication of service to his country he retired and was honorably discharged.  He then began a 21-year career at the University of North Dakota (UND) plant services.  After retiring from UND in 1998, he worked part time doing maintenance at his church, Valley Christian Church, until his death.

In 1956, he married Isabel (Betty) Sampson and together they had one son, Daniel (Kathleen) Horn of Crystal, MN, and a daughter, Debra (Duane) Marynik of Grand Forks, ND.  In 1986, he married Elizabeth (Betsy) Frambers and was blessed with three additional daughters, Kimberley (Michael) Frambers Larsen of Anchorage, AK; Melanie Frambers Daniel of White Bear Lake, MN; and Tiffany (Randall) Frambers Gameson of Lakeville, MN.

He is survived by his wife Betsy, 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty; son, Daniel; granddaughter, Angela Horn; and grandson, Kevin Chapman.

Celebration of life: Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Valley Christian Church in Grand Forks, ND

Burial: Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.

Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion post 157, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3817 and the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard.
