Harry D. Byzewski, Jr. 73, of Manvel, ND passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Harry David Byzewski Jr. was born in Grand Forks, ND on March 14, 1946, the son of Harry Sr. and Stella (Zolondek) Byzewski. He grew up in Manvel, attended Manvel Elementary School and graduated from NW School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN in 1964.

Harry married the love of his life and bride of 50 years, Beverly Wesolowski, on November 8, 1969 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Grand Forks. They resided in Manvel, ND and had four children. After serving 6 years in the United States Army Reserve, Harry worked at Armour Foods for 20 years before graduating as a Machinist from Brainerd Staple Technical College in 1994. He worked as a machinist until he retired in 2004.

Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and restoring antique tractors. He was on the Board of the Manvel Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Manvel American Legion Post #299 for 51 years.

Harry is survived by his wife, Beverly; a son, Paul (Michelle) Byzewski, Grand Forks, ND ; three daughters, Wendy (Jason Casavan) Byzewski, St. Hilaire, MN, Betsey (Michael) Peterson, Thompson, ND and Megan (Daniel) Nygord, Grand Forks, ND, and grandchildren, Kierstyn, Harper, and Halli.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Liturgy: 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Friday.
Interment: At a later date.

Military Honors: Accorded by members of the American Legion Post 299 and the North Dakota Army National Guard.
