Jack A. Foley , 90, of Johnstown, ND passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Jack Foley was born February 28, 1930 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Frank and Bernice (Finley) Foley. He graduated from Gilby High School in 1948. Jack farmed in the Johnstown area with his loving wife, Naomi for over fifty years. Naomi preceded him in death on December 1, 2000.

Jack spent his last years at Wheatland Terrace, where he enjoyed the company of many friends and family. Jack was devoted to his family and was tremendously proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gomez and the staff at Altru Hospital for their compassionate care of Jack.

Jack is survived by his three sons, Mike (Lori) Foley, Grand Forks, ND, David Foley, Johnstown, ND and John (Sue) Foley, Portland OR and one daughter, Nanci (Tom Pruter) Pensacola FL, a brother, Bob Foley, Sr., Roseau, MN; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Naomi; a sister, Marjorie Deitz and a sister-in-law, Marion (Mrs. Bob) Foley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gilby Fire and Recuse, Gilby Park Committee or St. Michaels Bridge Builders.

Private Funeral Liturgy: Due to current COVID-19 concerns, a private family funeral liturgy will be celebrated.
Burial: In the spring at Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, ND.
