Jacob Joseph Parsons , 31, beloved partner, brother, son, uncle, great uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed in good spirits at his home in Grand Forks, ND on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was aged 31 years.

Jake was born on June 9, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Suzanne M. (Augustine) Parsons and Charles L. Parsons. He spent his childhood in Pennsylvania where he developed an everlasting bond with his big sister, father, and mother. While in PA, Jake made many near and dear friendships that have lasted his lifetime.  He loved exploring the mountains, rivers, and tracks that PA had to offer before moving to Grand Forks at the age of 19. He moved to be with his sister, Linda J. (Ochs) Littrell, who was at the time stationed at GFAFB. Shortly after moving to GF, Jake got a job at the BINGO Palace where he met the love of his life, Kaleena K. Seidlinger. From the moment their eyes met, they felt a connection. Jake's smile and laugh drew her attention. He noticed her big, beautiful, blue eyes. From that day on, they were inseparable like magnets. They spent their first days falling in love, cruising country roads, exploring Larimore Dam, and sitting closer together on the bench every day. Jake and Kaleena met in September of 2008. They absolutely glowed when they were together. After about two weeks, they moved in together. They shared their home with two hound dogs, Baily and Bowser, as well as, two cats, Mira and Sparrow. Later they added a cat, named Koshka, to their family in 2014. Jake and Kaleena loved each other, lived together, often worked together, and were inseparable until he passed. Going on adventures brought them joy. Oh the stories, they do love to tell. They held hands, and walked side by side through anything and everything that life could manage to throw at them. These two always made the best of any situation, and had fun doing it. They will forever be intertwined. The night he passed, they danced together in the kitchen, kissed, hugged, and just enjoyed every moment of the love they have together.

Jake was a man of many talents. He enjoyed nature, full belly laughs, and solid jokes. He made the most of every day. He liked to wake up early, make breakfast, go biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, grilling, and going in the jacuzzi. Jake always was a happy camper who loved the smell of the campfire. He loved all animals. Jake found much joy in gardening. He loved watching all life grow. He always had fun. No matter what. He saw the best in people, and faced the world with a winning smile. He loved finding new paths. His favorite times were with his love by his side, in the mountains, rivers, lakes, and ocean. They loved exploring and trying new things together. He enjoyed all types of games especially his PS4, his online clans, playing cards (especially Rummy), board games, and anything that just entertained him. Jake particularly enjoyed beating his sister, Linda, at pool, foosball, and video games. Jake and Linda had so much fun together. They are one dynamic duo. Being around them when they are together is magical. So much good energy. He loves all of his family, and is so proud of them all.

You could often find Jake zipping around on his bike, playing pool, darts, bowling, shooting hoops, croquet, playing video games, or watching movies and TV. He donated Plasma regularly in an effort to save lives, especially the babies. He could fix almost anything, and always enjoyed tinkering on things. Jake loved dancing with his K in the kitchen while they grilled out or cooked inside or just because they were feeling their love. You can not keep him out of the water. If there is water, he will swim. His dream was to own a boat. He always had interesting facts to share due to his love to read and keep up on the news. Jake could always be counted on for a smile, joke, laugh, silly prank, or random act of kindness. He always lived life to the fullest, and made the most of what he had. He made sure to enjoy every moment. Jacob was an absolute charmer. Oh, that smile. It could win anyone over. His eyes could light up a room. His joyful, fun loving, happy-go-lucky, smiley spirit will forever and always be remembered. Gone, but not forgotten. Never ever forgotten. He is in the arms of the Lord now. He can dance, and let his free spirit rest and play. He is our Angel now, looking out for us and guiding us until we meet again. Jake is and will forever be loved and missed by many. Until we meet again. We will see each other again soon, real soon. WE LOVE YOU JAKE!

Best Friend: Ford Dargan; Maternal Uncles: Mike Augustine and Jimmy Augustine; Paternal Uncle: James (Jimmy) Parsons who he had a wonderful relationship with His Brother Bill Ochs' son: Zachary; Paternal Grandparents: Lorraine (Smith) Parsons and Samuel Parsons; Maternal Grandparents: Jane and Otto Augustine
