James D. Frovarp, 47, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, after a lengthy illness at his sister's home in Thompson.

James David Frovarp was born on May 17, 1979 in Grand Forks, ND, son of Dawn Frovarp and Eli Demery.   Jim Loved working as a delivery driver and was employed with Dakota TV and Appliances, Simonsen's Lumber, McKinnon Distribution Company and lastly Countrywide Sanitation. On his off time he enjoyed car shows, gaming, riding his motorcycle and attending concerts.  The highlight of his life was when his daughter Freya was born.

He is survived by his daughter, Freya Frovarp; a sister, Danielle Eley (Kajon); a nephew, Dominick Eley; aunts Debbie (Frovarp) Smith, Darcy (Michael) Johnson, Jacqueline Demerais and many cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Services: Calvary Lutheran Church, 1405 South 9th Street, Grand Forks at 1:30pm on Friday September 18, 2026.

Visitation: one  hour before service time in the church.

A time of fellowship will follow the service in the church.
