James "Jimbo" D. Krese II of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at his home in Grand Forks.

James Darrell Krese II was born on September 12, 1977, in Grand Forks, ND the son of James and Mary (Perez) Krese. He will be remembered for his boisterous laughter and his jokester personality. He loved going to the movies and occasionally bringing his nieces with him, going for walks by the river, socializing at the bar, listening to music, reading books and comics, admiring artwork, going fishing with his brother, Manny and cooking up his famous beef salad that his mother-in-law, Leck taught him.

James married Felisha Crimes and together they had two sons, James III and Isaiah. James was educated as an Electrical Apprentice at AVTI in East Grand Forks, MN. He held various jobs throughout his life, but electrical work was by far his favorite. He had a love of working out and lifting weights and was always posing for selfies. He loved Tolkien books, Marvel and DC comics, especially Wolverine. He was such a fan that he talked his parents into making his brother, Kyle's middle name be Logan after Wolverine. But what he loved the most in life were his sons.

He is survived by and will be terribly missed by his sons, James III and Isaiah, San Antonio, TX; parents, James Sr. and Mary, Grand Forks, ND; siblings, Manny (Katie) Krese, Shauna (Jim) Frovarp, Selena (Phil) Johnson, all of Grand Forks, ND and Kyle (Rachelle) Krese of Watertown, NY; his grandma, Helena Perez, Thompson, ND; ex-wife, Felisha Rea, San Antonio, TX; many aunts, uncles and cousins; beloved nieces, Alyssa, Jasmin, Lea, Bella, Charlee, Freya and his nephew on the way, Azrael.

He was welcomed into heaven by his grandpa's Jose Perez and Ed Krese; his grandma, Cecelia Sandbeck; aunts, Linda Wallette, Christina Perez, Barbara Defender; uncles, Daniel Perez, Felix Wallette Sr., Alex Perez and cousins, Lisa Smith, Tiffany Revering and his beloved dog, Pumkin.

Memorial Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
