Jane Frances Cable, 72, of Grand Forks, ND joined her husband and went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Jane was born in Drayton, ND on August 28, 1951, to Daniel and Verneil Staskivige. She lived on her parents' farm in Drayton until she was eight when the family moved to Grand Forks.  Jane married the love of her life, Bob Lynn Cable on April 16, 1983. They enjoyed birdwatching, hunting, and taking drives in the country.

Jane is survived by her son, Chad Sletten, Katy, TX; brothers, Richard (Marie) Staskivige and Gerald (Cheryl) Staskivige; nieces, Rachel and Halee, and a nephew, Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, Daniel and Verneil; a nephew, Ryan and a niece, Kacee.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Monday.
