Jeannie Temple, 70, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. At Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Born on January 18, 1956, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Richard and Ruth (Leen) Kowalczik, Jeannie lived her entire life in the community she called home, touching countless lives along the way.

Jeannie was, above all else, a loving mother and devoted friend. She dedicated more than 45 years of loyal service to Simplot, earning the respect and admiration of everyone who worked alongside her. Her work ethic was remarkable, and that same tireless energy carried into every corner of her life. Jeannie was always busy and rarely sat still. There was always something to tend to—whether it was her beloved plants, a garden to nurture, a recipe to perfect, or a home to keep in order.

Those who knew Jeannie knew her kindness. She had a warm and generous spirit that made people feel cared for and valued. A wonderful cook and baker, she showed her love through the meals and treats she prepared for family and friends. She also had a special fondness for sending cards to the people she cherished, a simple gesture that meant the world to those who received them. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed coloring and reading.

Jeannie is survived by her daughter, Michelle Beauvais (Scott Beauvais); her sons, Joshua Temple, Justin Temple, and Michael Ross; and her beloved grandchildren, Breckin, Aspen, Kayla, Mandy, Tyler, and Logan, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

May she find peace and rest in God's loving arms.

Her family shared simply, "We will miss our mother deeply," and all who knew Jeannie would surely say the same.
