Jeanette M. Stropnicky , 81, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia, Grand Forks, ND.

Jeanette Marlene Falos was born on January 24, 1940, in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of John and Violet (Breton) Falos.  She grew up in Grand Forks with 13 brothers and sisters.  Jeanette married Frank Stropnicky on July 8, 1959, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.  They resided in Grand Forks and were married for 62 years.  They raised a grandson, Connor from the age of 4 months to 5 years of age while his mother was employed.  Jeanette was employed as a house cleaner while raising her family.  She was a longtime member of St. Michaels Church and enjoyed going to polka fests, riding her bike, going to church and being with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, Grand Forks, ND; her children, Dave Stropnicky, Grand Forks, ND and Jolene (Gary) Fields, Thompson, ND; a grandson, Connor Fields, Thompson, ND; brothers and sisters, Karen (Tony) Kobbervig, Gary Falos, Mary (Nordean) Ekren, Ron (Cindy) Falos and Duane Falos.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, John Falos, Shirley Lisdahl, Bev Remme, Louis Falos, Harold Falos, and Gerri Sollum.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church on Monday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
