Jill Marie (Gregoire) Devos , 78, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Valley Transitions Care on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Jill Marie Gregoire was born on January 1, 1948, in St. Michael's Hospital, Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Bert and Effie Gregoire, of East Grand Forks, MN.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School, East Grand Forks and went on to attend the University of North Dakota and graduated with an associate's degree from Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks.

Jill married the love of her life, Rodney Devos, on May 4, 1974, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She was employed with Red River Potato Grower's in East Grand Forks. Jill was an Administrative Secretary in the Department of Pediatrics and Genetics at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, retiring after 27 years of service. Jill was an avid reader, and you could find her curled up in her favorite chair with one of her many books. She also enjoyed the lake and going camping with the family.

She is survived by her husband, Rod Devos; her son, Aaron (Andrea) Devos; her daughter, Sarah (Mat) Larson; grandchildren, Danika and Carter Devos, and Adalynn Larson; her twin brother, Jack (Delphine) Gregoire, brother. Monte (Betty Jo) Gregoire, and many nieces and nephews

Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Effie Gregoire; her brothers, Lloyd (Ethel) Gregoire, Lyle Gregoire; a sister, Cindy Olson; a nephew, Brian Olson and parents-in-law, Raymond and Theresa Devos.

As a family, we would like to thank Lorraine Clemens for her special loving way of being a part-time caregiver, and for the joy and respect during Jill's journey through dementia. Also, the nurses and CNA's at Valley Transitions who went above and beyond to help Jill on her journey.

Mass of Christian Burial: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church on Tuesday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
