Jodi Sue Northington , 61, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Valley Senior Living; Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks.

Jodi Sue Fish was born June 22, 1959 to James and Margaret Fish. Jodi was raised in Grand Forks and attended Viking Elementary School, Schroeder Middle School, and Red River High School.

Jodi was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister with a never ending sense of humor; she always looked through life with those humorous lenses on. Jodi worked in the food industry most of her life and also in the medical records area. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles of all sorts, but her grandchildren were the focus of her life.

Jodi is survived by her sons, Travis (Joanna) Northington and Trent (Maria) Northington; mother Margaret Fish; brother Jim (Kari) Fish; grandchildren, Riley, Lana, Avalyn, and Otto; niece Grace; and nephew, James.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Jim Fish, and granddaughter Ella.

Jodi loved living in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, and it was her wish to return there.

Memorial Service : 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel, Grand Forks, ND.
