John J. Ebertowski III, a son of John and Stephie (Kasmatta) Ebertowski, was born on March 11, 1948 in Grand Forks. He raised near Warsaw, ND and attended school in Oslo, MN. After graduation he worked with his father on the family farm. On March 23, 1967 he entered the US Army National Gaurd. John was honorably discharged on June 1, 1971. John Then worked at the Pillsbury/Crystal Sugar plant in East Grand Forks. On August 29, 1970 he was married to Denise Grabinski in Warsaw, ND. They moved to Grand Forks where they lived for a time. They returned to the farm where he worked with his father again. In 1986 John began working for the Associated Potato Growers in Grand Forks. He moved back to grand forks in 1998. In 2010 John retired and continued to live in Grand Forks.

He enjoyed watching football, baseball, spending time with family and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ebertowski; a son John Ebertowski IV; grandchildren, Jasmine Ebertowski and Cody Ebertowski; sister Sandy (Jim) Neil; and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death b his parents, a brother Ronnie Ebertowski and a sister Karen Ebertowski.

Funeral: Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Visitation: one hour before service time at the church

Burial: Memorial Park North in Grand Forks, ND
