Katherine A. Larson, 66, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Katherine Ann Rath was born on November 6, 1957, in Fairbanks, AK the daughter of Marlyn and Elayne (Johnson) Rath.  Katherine married Christopher R. Larson on November 2, 1999, in Las Vegas, NV.  She enjoyed playing games, cards, dice, Bingo, pull tabs and growing plants and flowers.  Most of all, she loved spending time at the lake and being with her family and friends.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Christopher; her mother,  Elayne Rath; her children, Trisha (Todd) Sangrait, Grafton, ND, Troy (Morgan) Nelson, Burlison, TX and Lindsay (Brendan) Brustad, Grand Forks, ND; brothers, David Rath, Wheaton, MN and Mark Rath, Quinlan, TX; a sister, Brenda (Jerry) Fischer, Rosholt, SD; grandchildren, Ashley, Alissa, Landon, Kiersten, Paxton and Peyton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marlyn.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Tuesday.
