Keith Wayne Myers , of Grand Forks, ND, aged 76, died peacefully in his sleep on April 27, 2026, He was born to Leonard and Florence (Dura) Myers on July 1, 1949.

Keith was raised in Harwood, ND, graduating from West Fargo High School in 1967.

Keith began his career as a police officer in New Rockford, ND, serving the Community for 14 years.

In 1987, Keith and his family moved to Grand Forks, ND, where he worked at the University of North Dakota Police Department for the next 25 years, retiring in 2011.

Keith was an avid fan of UND women's and men's basketball and football. He attended many home and away games. He was a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan no matter what.

After retiring, he spent his winters in Florida with his wife visiting Disney World whenever they could. He enjoyed traveling whenever he could, visiting many countries along the way.

He was a friend to anyone who said hello or sat next to him.

Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years Rita (Jefferies); his daughter, Samantha Myers, Grand Forks, ND; his son, Blair (Krystal) Myers-Leehy; 3 grandsons, Devin, Wyatt, Oliver all of Crystal, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He is proceed in death by his parents; his brother Leonard; infant son Derek; and parents-in- law, Jim and Marlyn Jefferies.

Memorial Mass: 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Family Greeting and Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, April 30, 2026, with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service in the Norman Funeral Home.  Family Greeting will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Friday.
Interment: At a later date, in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
