Kristien Marie Grzadzielewski , age 56 of Grand Forks, ND, died on Sunday June 21, 2026 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Kristi M. Grzadzielewski, the adopted daughter of Douglas and Mary Kay (Stoltman) Marsh, was born on November 15, 1969 at Fargo, ND. She was reared and educated in Grand Forks. After graduation she attended the University of North Dakota and obtained her Master's in Education. Kristi began teaching in the Grand Forks Public School System, specializing in Special Education. She taught most of her years at Red River High School. On February 21, 2004, she was married to Tom Grzadziewski at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND. In 2025 Kristi retired from teaching due to health reasons.

She enjoyed playing online video games especially "Candy crush". Kristi would tend to her flowers that she planted every year. Kristi loved going to the lake and spending time around the campfires with her family and friends.

Kristi touched a lot of students' lives.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; daughters, Grace Grzadzielewski and Brooke Grzadzielewski, both of Grand Forks; two brothers, Troy (Jennifer) Marsh and their children, Jeremy and Nicolas; and Jason Marsh and his children, Austin and Amanda; her dogs, Cookie and Bailey.

Kristi is preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Mary Kay Marsh.

Memorial Service: Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 am at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour before service time in the church.
