Laurie Lynn Knudson (Vacura), 59, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, in her home in Grand Forks.

Laurie Lynn Knudson (Vacura) was born on October 18, 1966, in Grand Forks, ND. She was raised by Rita Marie Schroeder in Grand Forks, ND and Devils Lake ND.

Laurie was a loving mother of Tyler Vacura and a proud grandmother of Lincoln, Cameron, Jovie and Micaela. She shared many cherished years with her husband, Jon Knudson.

She will be remembered by her warm heart, beautiful smile and the family she found in her friends. The saying "friends are family" rang true for Laurie. She filled her life with joyful moments- whether at the lake, on trips with her friends, or simply sharing laughter. Her presence brought comfort, connection, and happiness to those around her, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Knudson; her son, Tyler Vacura, and daughter-in-law, Brittany Vacura; her stepdaughter, Jennifer Knudson; her stepson Brian Knudson; her sisters, Christine Butler, Clara Rivera; her brothers, Mike, John, Rodney, Ducky, Grand Forks, ND, her Grand Children, Lincoln and Cameron Vacura, and Jovie and Micaela Knudson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Marie Schroeder and sister, Doris Coleman.
