Leona L. Gerszewski, 67, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at her home in Grand Forks.

Leona Loretta Gerszewski was born on September 27, 1956, in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Isadore and Loretta (Kilichowski) Gerszewski.  She attended elementary school in Warsaw, ND and graduated from Minto High School in 1974.  Following her graduation, Leona moved to Grand Forks.  She was employed with the North Dakota State Mill and Elevator for 21 years until her retirement in 2020.

She loved her three cats, Tiffany, Natasha, and Herbie.  Leona enjoyed movies, crafting and entertaining her friends and family.

She is survived by her sisters, Madonna Gerszewski, and Mary Gerszewski; a nephew, Shawn (Patricia) Gerszewski; a niece, Jennifer Gerszewski; great nieces and nephews, Genevieve, Hania, Connor, Carrie, Josef and Nicholas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Theresa Gerszewski and a brother, Lambert Gerszewski.
