Lois F. Jeffrey, 74, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Lois Faye Fontaine was born July 31, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Edward and Regina (Dorscher) Fontaine.  Lois married William R. Jeffrey on August 20, 1966. They had two children, Annette and Richard.  William preceded her in death on January 14, 2013.

Lois loved working with children.  She worked in food service with the Grand Forks Public School System and for many years at the concession stand of the Elk's Pool. She was known as "Grandma Lois" to the children she worked with at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Lois loved spending time with family.  She cherished her summers with her granddaughters and enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's (related and non-related) activities both athletic and musical.  Lois was a loyal and loving woman who loved with her whole heart.  She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Brown, Colorado Springs, CO; her son, Richard (Christie) Jeffrey, Rosemount, MN; a sister, Janice Fontaine, Rowlett, TX; grandchildren, Alyssa Brown and Ashley Brown, Colorado Springs, CO and Tyson Jeffrey and Ryan Jeffrey, Rosemount, MN and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; brothers, Kenneth and Dennis.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service in Holy Family Catholic Church.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Tuesday.
Burial: Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
