Lois L Stoltman (Rolzinski) , 98, of Grand Forks, ND passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Lois was born in Minto, ND on October 19th, 1927, the oldest daughter of Lenard and Steffie (Rezka) Rolzinski. She attended Minto Public School and received her high school diploma in May 1945. Shortly after, Lois enrolled at Mayville State University Teacher's College to prepare herself to teach elementary students and eventually taught grades 3 and 4 in Minto Public Schools for two years.

In June of 1950, Lois married the love of her life, Ernest F. (Ernie) Stoltman, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Minto, ND. They settled down and started their family in Grand Forks in 1953, where she raised 7 children while volunteering her time to the community. During 40 years of activity, she attended board meetings of St. James High School, St Mary's Church Council, Diocesan Area 3 coordinators, religious education conferences, and ran the CCD program at St. Mary's Church in Grand Forks. She also helped with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for several years. In the summer of 2010, Lois and Ernie celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with immediate family.

Lois is survived by daughters, Gayle Cozza, Grand Forks, ND and Bobbie (John) Grassel, Bismarck, ND; sons, Lee,(Dawn Danielski) Grand Forks, ND, Lyle (Kathleen), Moses Lake, WA, Lenny, North Bend, WA, and Landis (Laurie), Redmond, WA; grandchildren, Kree Robinson Nelson, Tony Cozza, Matt (Brittany) Grassel, Grant (Alex) Stoltman, Ben Grassel, Karly (Colton) Messer, Lucas Stoltman, and Sophie Stoltman; brother-in-law, Ed (Stoltman), and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest; her son, Loel; her parents; sister, Eileen Peters (Rolzinski); brothers-in-law, Dan (Stoltman), Richard (Stoltman), Frank "Bud" (Stoltman), sisters-in-law, Joyce (Mrs. Dan) Stoltman, Joanne (Mrs. Richard) Stoltman, Shirley (Mrs. Frank) Stoltman, and Mary (Mrs. Ed) Stoltman.

Burial: In the spring of 2026, at Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
