Loretta Jean Vondal , age 43 of Grand Forks, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Valley Eldercare on Columbia in Grand Forks, ND.

Loretta Jean Vondal, a daughter of Charles and Mabel (Goulet) Vondal, was born on December 27, 1978 in Walhalla, ND. At a young age she moved with her family to Grand Forks. Loretta attended school in Grand Forks.She attained her GED, (which she was especially proud of) in 2015 . After she traveled to New Jersey then North Carolina for a time. Loretta lived in Texas. when her youngest child, Leland was a toddler. She returned to Grand Forks, where she has since resided.

She enjoyed bowling with her family, diamond painting with Leland and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her children, Leland Winkler, Aubrey Kouba, Ronald Winkler III, and Charles Valnes: siblings, Laverne Vondal and Laura (Roger) Mutcher; grand-niece, Arabelle "Pudding" Hayes and a grand-nephew, Daemon Vondal.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents: brothers Leslie and Lonnie Vondal.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
