Margaret "Marge" Geatz , 83, resident of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Parkwood Place in Grand Forks.

Margaret Alice Gust was born October 16, 1936 in Crookston, MN the daughter of Frank and Alice (Mekash) Gust. She was raised in Crookston and graduated from Cathedral High School. Marge married Ronald Geatz in 1955 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston. Marge attended and was employed with the University of North Dakota until she and Ron started a family.

Marge and Ron spent many winters in Lake Havasu, AZ. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, playing cards, golfing, playing Bingo and pull tabs. Ron preceded her in death on February 26, 2018.

She is survived by her 4 children, Susie (Gregg) Schaefer, Mike (Sue) Geatz, Marc (Lynette) Geatz and Jodi (Rick) Palmiscno; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Don) Crough and Jane (Don) Truhlar and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ron.

Memorial Liturgy: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Saturday.
Interment: In the spring at Calvary North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
