Margaret "Marge" Holm , 92, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Tioga, ND passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Margaret Rose Kuchar was born on February 2, 1930, in Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Kolar) Kuchar.  She was raised on the family farm near Edmore, ND. Margaret attended Edmore High School.  She then received her Registered Nursing degree from Valley City School of Nursing.

After nursing school, Marge decided to travel the country with four other nursing students.  She lived in California, Florida, New Orleans, before marrying Bernard on May 3, 1955 and eventually moving to Toga in 1959.

Margaret began working at the Tioga Medical Center soon after moving to Tioga and continued as a registered nurse and eventually the surgical supervisor.

Marge and Bernie enjoyed travelling in their fifth wheel trailer to many different campgrounds around the state of North Dakota visiting family after their retirement.

Marge was very devoted to the Catholic faith and her church.  She often participated with Mass as an extraordinary minister of holy communion and was a member of St. Thomas Women's Guild.

The Sportsman Café was a favorite gathering place to enjoy family time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  Many memories were made during those days.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Mary Ann) Holm, Tioga, ND and Mark (Bridget) Holm, Raleigh, NC; her daughters, Mary (Jon) Carl, Grand Forks, ND, Michele (Jack) Schmitz, Clifford, ND and Marcy (Gary) Spooner, Tioga, ND; a sister, Helen Beedy; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard and a brother, Joseph.
