Margret "Peggy" Curran , 84, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks.

Margret Ann Davis was born on August 11, 1938, in Grafton, ND the daughter of Lawrence and Laura (Samuelson) Davis.  She was raised in Walsh County, ND and graduated from Grafton highschool. She attended college in Kansas City, then returned to Grand Forks, ND where she married Paul "Kelly" Curran in 1967.

Margret enjoyed going to garage sales, bake sales, shopping at thrift stores, cooking, baking, and making lefse.  Margret was a woman of unconditional love.  She was the best mother and loved her family and grandchildren.  She was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society in Grand Forks.  Paul preceded her in death on December 21, 2012.

She is survived by her sons, David Curran, Grand Forks, ND, Daniel Curran, Kalispell, MT and Michael (Rhonda) Curran, Thief River Falls, MN; 4 grandchildren; Nicole Rairdon, and Jordan Rairdon both of Thief River Falls, MN; Ashley (Josh) Bergerson, also of Thief River Falls, MN; Garrett, and Megan Lynn both of Minnesota; 3 honorary grandchildren; William, Scarlett, and Sawyer, all of Montana; 3 great-grandchildren and her dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Leland Davis and Roger Davis and her sisters, Helen Thorp and Betty Hein.

A special thank you to granddaughter Ashley Bergerson and Connie Wold for taking care of Peggy from time to time. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff of Valley Senior Living for caring for Peggy as well.

Margret loved the color, purple.  If possible, in her honor, please wear something purple for her Memorial Liturgy.

Memorial Liturgy :  11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Family Greeting: One hour prior to the liturgy in the funeral home on Monday.
Interment: In the spring, at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Minto, ND.
