Marie Elaine Baker Harmon

September 26, 2022 ~ Age 84

Reynolds, North Dakota

Born May 17, 1938, Bagley, Minnesota

Marie was raised on a farm in Bagley, MN by her parents, Edward Leo Baker and Anne Marie Baker.  She, her brothers & sisters enjoyed everything farm life had to offer.  James Baker, William Baker, Ruthie Baker, Eva "Vannie" Ness,  Rosie Larson, Eddy & Mary Larson.

She often talked about how she loved her home and farm life and often wished she could return.  Marie attended Bagley High School where she met and fell in love with Milo Harmon.  They were married on October 5, 1957, in Bagley, MN.

It wasn't long before the babies started to arrive and pretty soon, six wonderful children had been added to their "little" family who all became exceptional adults, who, in turn brought more wonderful babies into their now "big" family.

She is survived by six children, Jody (Liz), Sue, Tom (Julie), Terry, Lisa (Tim) & Kristin (Schaun).  Her thirteen grandchildren, Paul, Benjamin, Lucas, Cheryl, Mandy, Thomas,  Meaghann, Haydn, Liam, Brittany, Kimber, Tyler & Grace.  Her eight great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cain, Lily, Rowan, Julietta, Bellamy, Orion & Esme.

For 17 years, Marie was a "Mom" to all.  She was a caregiver to foster and daycare kids, to the kids at Minto School, to the families in the Secret Santa Program,  to the Church and surrogate grandma to many other kids.  Marie's smile and laughter warmed the hearts of everyone around her. A beautiful soul who loved her family. Loved to bake, cook and garden, and in so doing, held on to traditions that were important to her.  She was a slick card player and loved playing cards with her family most of all.

She will be deeply missed and cherished forever.
