Marie C. Paulson , 97, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Maple View Memory Care in Grand Forks.

Marie Cecelia Enerson was born August 17, 1922 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Nickolai and Cecelia (Stanislowski) Enerson. She was raised in Big Woods, MN and graduated from Oslo High School in Oslo, MN. Marie married Carl M. Paulson on November 12, 1941 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Oslo. Marie and Carl moved to Grand Forks and raised their family. Marie was employed with Kmart, Tempo an later with Red Owl. She was a remarkable seamstress, an expert gardener and an excellent cook and baker. Marie was devoted to her Catholic Faith. She was a past member of St. Mary' Catholic Church and St. Michael's Catholic Church and presently was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. For many years, she volunteered at the Grand Forks Senior Citizens Center.

She is survived by her son, Einor (Helen) Paulson, Fort Mohave, AZ; her daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Alan) Bielemeyer, Bullhead City, AZ, Carlene (Jesse) Cadreau, Mesa, AZ and Kathy (Rick) Fayette, Thompson, ND; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; a son, James Paulson; an infant daughter, Faye and a son-in-law, Alan Bielemeyer.

Mass of Christian Burial : 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020 in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation: One hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Friday.
Burial: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
