Mark L. Danielson, 63, of Mayville, ND was called home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, surrounded by all his loved ones, after a short and aggressive fight against cancer at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Mark Lee Danielson was on born December 9, 1958, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Virgil and Cecilia (Azure) Danielson.   He was raised in Grand Forks and graduated from Red River High School. Shortly after high school, Mark joined Job Corps. After that, he was employed with J.R. Simplot, LM Windpower and Crystal Sugar. Every fall, Mark looked forward to taking his vacation time from work to haul beets for Krogstad Farms out of Reynolds, ND.

While working at LM Windpower, Mark met Jodi Sundeen and they made their family home in the rural Mayville. Together, they enjoyed riding on Mark's motorcycle, camping, four wheeling and going on family vacations. His pride and joy was spending time with his grandchildren, Aiden, Brooklyn and Maverick.

Mark is survived by his fiancée, Jodi; his sons, Chris (Audrey) Danielson, Adam Cedergren, Austin Cedergren, Jordan Sundeen; his daughters, Jennifer Sunell, Ashley (Brody) Hutton and Allyson Dietzler; his brothers, Ron Danielson and Dale Danielson; sisters, Kathy Tichacek, Diana (Scott) Ohman; 9 grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by, his parents; a brother, Gary Danielson; an infant son, Aaron and a brother-in-law, Ken Tichacek.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the support and prayers they gave Mark and his family throughout the last two months.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Historic Norman Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral service in the funeral home on Saturday.
Burial: In the spring, at Riverside Cemetery in Lake Bronson, MN.
