In Loving Memory of Mary Ann Hentschell (Cariveau)

Mary Ann, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 8, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Born September 7, 1949, as one of eleven siblings, now reunited with four of them (and her parents) who preceded her.  A military spouse for 20 years, Mary Ann embraced a life of travel and adventure, enriching her spirit and leaving her with a treasure trove of memories. Her journey as a military spouse was a testament to her resilience and dedication to her family.

An avid quilter, Mary Ann poured her creativity into every stitch, creating quilts that not only warmed the body but also the soul. Her artistic legacy will endure in the cherished pieces she leaves behind.

Her greatest joy, however, was found in her only child: Shannon and three grandchildren: Whitney, Jalen and Quincy, whose laughter brought boundless happiness into her life. Mary Ann cherished the special moments spent with them, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Known for her infectious laughter and warm spirit, Mary Ann embraced life with a zest that touched all who knew her.

As we bid farewell to Mary Ann, let's have a shot of fireball and remember the laughter, the love, and the adventures she shared. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her and the memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
