MICHAEL D. STAVIG

Michael Stavig, age 58 of Pembina, ND, died on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Mike was born July 27th 1963 in Grand Forks North Dakota. Living in a variety of places such

as; Salem Oregon, Oslo MN, Manvel ND, Williston ND, Turtle Lake ND, and Pembina ND. He

spent most of his working career as a truck driver; however, after being put on disability his full

time job was being a single parent to his youngest son. It was clear to all who knew him that

family meant the world to Mike.

He is survived by his children; Christopher Stavig, CarriJo Hovden (Aerrick Hovden), Tony

Lindteigan (Adri Grubb), and Aaron Stavig, his three sisters; Virginia Bushaw, Karen Stavig, and

Angela Witucki, and his 2 grandchildren; Aryeah, and Jaxon, as well as his bonus family; Kreg

and Isabelle Ganyo.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Jerri Stavig, his parents; Duane and Mary Stavig, and his

mother-in-law; Mavis Lindteigan.

Memorial service: Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home.
